Vacuum technology in Aquaculture
Our vacuum technology ensures smooth operations for different scenarios in aquaculture. From priming pumps that help main pumps move liquid, to sanitary systems and wastewater handling on feed barges or land installations. Jets® vacuum systems are designed to perform in demanding conditions and are adaptable to different challenges.
- Reliable vacuum technology
- Flexible installation

Adaptable for any challenge
JETS has solutions for different scenarios where water needs to be transported effectively.
Vacuum technology, whether used for priming or toilet systems, provides efficient water-handling with minimal energy use and high reliability.
Jets® pumps and systems by JETS can be used in new installations as well as for upgrading existing infrastructure or systems. Jets® vacuum technology can meet specific needs for fish farms and different facilities both on land and at sea.

Sanitary systems for feed barges and land-based sites
Toilet and wastewater systems must perform reliably in remote locations with limited space and variable occupancy.
Jets® vacuum sanitary systems are robust and use very little water. Installation is flexible since the systems are compact and can move water in any direction. This makes Jets® ideal for feed barges and land-based fish farms. Waste is efficiently transported through small-diameter pipes, and the system is easy to install and maintain. This improves hygiene and reduces the environmental footprint of each facility.

Vacuum priming
Easy dry-start with Vacuumarator® pumps by JETS.
Many aquaculture facilities rely on pumps to move water for fish handling, filtration, or cleaning processes. These pumps often need to operate under dry-start conditions or with long suction lines, where air in the system can be a challenge. Vacuumarator® pumps remove air and prepare pumps for immediate and optimal operation. Less downtime and more protection of sensitive equipment.

Technology proven over decades
Jets® technology has proven it's durability and quality in installations at sea and on land.
JETS works closely with fish farmers, barge builders, system integrators and consultants to deliver vacuum solutions that fit modern aquaculture. Whether on a floating feed barge, a closed containment site, or a land-based facility, the pioneering Jets® technology helps keep systems running reliably, efficiently and with care for the environment.
