JETS establishes Jets North America for the Land Market in the USA

Company

JETS is strengthening its presence in the US Land Market with the establishment of Jets North America LLC in Concord, North Carolina. From 1 January 2027, the company will have its own local team and warehouse, responsible for sales, technical support, service and spare parts. The aim is to be closer to customers in the US market.

The USA is not a new market for JETS. For nearly 20 years, the company has supplied vacuum technology and solutions to American customers through a successful partnership with Nordic Americas Group. As a distributor of JETS' land-based solutions, Nordic Americas Group has played an important role in making the technology available to customers and building long-term relationships.

From 1 January 2027, JETS will take direct responsibility for sales and customer support for its land-based solutions in the USA through the newly established Jets North America LLC.

- We have a strong starting point thanks to the work that has been done over many years. Now we want to build on that with our own organisation, allowing us to work more closely with customers and respond more directly to the market, says Øyvind Tørlen, CEO at JETS.

A local presence in North Carolina

With  our own warehouse and local team in the USA, JETS will be better positioned to support customers directly. Sales, technical support, service, spare parts and logistics will be brought together within the new organization, creating shorter lines of communication and easier access to JETS' wider expertise. Support for the maritime market will continue through JETS' existing maritime organization.

The location has also been carefully considered. Concord, North Carolina, offers good transport connections and a location that makes it easier to serve customers across different parts of the USA. This provides JETS with a solid base for future growth.

Building on experience

- Preparations for the establishment have been underway for much of 2026, and we have kept our employees informed throughout the process. There have been many pieces to put in place, from premises and logistics to systems and building the team, says Tørlen.

One of those who will now be based in the USA is Frode Bakke, who has taken on the role of Head of Sales and Marketing Mobile North America. Having worked at JETS for many years, he has also been personally involved in developing the US market. In his new role, he will be based in Concord, with responsibility for the Mobile segment across North America.

- We have enjoyed a very good working relationship with Nordic Americas Group over many years, and they have played an important role for JETS in the USA. I am now looking forward to being even closer to the US market and strengthening the connection between our customers and the expertise within JETS. This creates valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing, training and further development, says Frode Bakke.

The transition to Jets North America LLC has been carefully planned to ensure continuity in both customer relationships and day-to-day operations. While the organization is new, it builds on many years of experience, established relationships and knowledge of the US market. With a stronger local presence, JETS is ready to continue developing its land-based business in North America.
