Expand as you go – scalable sanitation for modern worksites

Public and modular

Worksites are, by nature, temporary. Yet for the people who spend months, sometimes years, on site, this is where their working day unfolds. Comfort, hygiene, and reliability matter just as much here as in any permanent building. Expectations around comfort, hygiene, and efficiency are only increasing. Reliable sanitation has become a key part of how projects manage wellbeing, logistics, and cost.

By incorporating Jets® vacuum technology, these priorities come together in one solution - improving hygiene, cutting costs, and simplifying logistics for worksites of any size or location.

Better for people, better for business

With Jets® vacuum systems, you can offer users clean, odour-free, and comfortable facilities – more like a permanent installation than a portable one.

For more than 20 years, JETS has provided vacuum technology for mobile sanitation systems. The product range includes Jets® vacuum toilets, Vacuumarator® pumps, Jets® Single Catcher, RagBox® and other key components developed and patented by Jets®. These can be seamlessly integrated into any type of movable module – from containers and trailers to equipment skids, restrooms, and other temporary structures. Built for flexibility and efficiency, Jets® systems handle both black and grey water, enabling hygienic, space-saving, and reliable restroom solutions wherever they are needed.

By integrating Jets® vacuum technology into your product line, your customers gain access to high-hygiene toilets from day one – a system that grows and adapts as the site develops.

A system that evolves with every stage

Initially, wastewater can be collected in a holding tank, while Jets® vacuum technology cuts water use by up to 90%, reducing both disposal volumes and service frequency. Later, as sewer connections become available, the same system can be seamlessly connected to the permanent sewage network.

- This flexibility not only reduces water use and waste but also eliminates future transportation costs associated with emptying tanks – providing a smart, odour-free, and sustainable sanitation solution that evolves with the needs of the construction site, explains Frode Bakke, Sales and Market Development Manager at JETS

And that difference matters. Reliable sanitation has a direct impact on workers’ comfort, morale, and productivity. A healthier, more comfortable workforce means fewer sick days, better retention, and higher efficiency. Increasingly, developers and site managers recognise this connection – and the need to provide facilities that reflect modern standards for safety, health, and sustainability.

Among the companies putting this into practice is GAMMA Engineering, which has been building and operating portable restrooms using Jets® components for more than 15 years. Working primarily in the film industry, Gamma understands that some job sites are completely off-grid.

- Using the Edge M units with the Catcher system gives me peace of mind, as both a manufacturer and operator, knowing the system will perform reliably and deliver a great customer experience, says Joseph Al Kadamani, CEO at Gamma Engineering.

Smarter logistics, lower costs

Behind every worksite lies a complex logistical puzzle. Freshwater supply, waste collection, transport, and maintenance all come with time, cost, and risk. Jets® vacuum systems make that puzzle simpler.

Because the system uses only a fraction of the water required by traditional toilets, fewer transports and smaller tanks are needed. All units can connect to a single collection point, reducing infrastructure, space requirements, and service intervals.

The result is lower operational costs, easier planning, and fewer things that can go wrong – all while maintaining a higher standard of hygiene.

- It’s really about making everyday operations easier. You save water, reduce transport, and cut operating costs – all while maintaining a much higher hygiene standard. It’s a straightforward solution that makes a big difference on site, says Bakke.

Compared to conventional portable toilets that require individual emptying, vacuum systems allow you to maintain a cleaner, safer, and more efficient worksite, as tanks can be emptied discreetly in the background without interrupting work.

Designed for flexibility and sustainability

Vacuum systems from Jets® are built to adapt. They operate on minimal energy and can even be powered by solar panels, opening new possibilities for projects where infrastructure is limited. The systems can be installed wherever needed – even off-grid – and scaled to projects of any size.

Whether the challenge is a remote location, a confined urban site, or a large-scale project with hundreds of workers, the system’s flexibility helps teams maintain comfort, hygiene, and compliance with minimal effort.

With water savings of up to 90%, fewer vehicle movements, and reduced waste handling, Jets® vacuum technology also supports broader sustainability goals and the environmental standards that are now part of every major project.

With the latest Jets® Single Catcher combined with the Jets® Edge Vacuumarator® pump Medium – or the Jets® 15MB pump together with RagBox® – you get a modern, compact, and reliable water and wastewater setup that can be installed almost anywhere.

- The components are easy to integrate into any type of toilet module, ensuring dependable operation. Both the Single Catcher and the RagBox® effectively stop unwanted objects before they ever reach the pump, thus reducing maintenance and downtime while preventing microplastics from entering the environment, says Michael de Lima Ribeiro, Sales Manager Mobile at JETS.

Reliable systems, trusted expertise

Behind the technology stand decades of experience. Jets® delivers complete vacuum sanitation solutions – from toilets to pumps and control systems – all designed to work together as one reliable package.

That reliability is what makes vacuum solutions a solid investment. Fewer breakdowns, predictable maintenance, and support from an experienced partner translate directly into smoother operations and reduced downtime for operators.

- Four decades of experience in vacuum technology have shaped the way we work. It’s enabled us to build a strong service and maintenance organisation that’s there every day – to support our customers, share knowledge, and deliver. We take pride in being a trusted partner, always close to our customers and ready to help them succeed, says Montserrat Lugrís Lopez, Sales Manager Mobile at JETS.

Comfort, efficiency, and sustainability in one solution

On today’s worksites, sanitation is about more than just meeting basic needs. It’s part of how projects stay efficient, how companies show they care, and how they create safe, comfortable environments for the people who work there.

With Jets® vacuum systems, it’s easy to combine all those priorities – comfort, efficiency, and sustainability – in one reliable solution. The result is cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable sites that work better for everyone.

- When we talk to people out in the field, or to our partners who work closely with end users, we hear the same thing again and again. Whenever large groups of people share limited space, hygiene becomes absolutely essential. Reliable systems that manage waste efficiently and keep facilities clean help protect health, maintain operations, and create a better daily experience for everyone involved, concludes Bakke.

At the end of the day, it’s about people. When they feel comfortable and cared for, everything else tends to run better too.
